Ocean Villa offer great amenities and its walking distance to the beachfront promenade. Close to the main shopping areas and various restaurants to choose from. The property offers a range of fully self-catering units which include the four-sleeper and six-sleeper units. All units are fully equipped with a full kitchen, private bathrooms and garden with a veranda or balcony for those needed South African braai`s. Units 1, 10 and 18 are two-bedroom duplex units which consist of a double bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom. In unit 18 there is a double sleeper couch in the lounge. Units 1 and 10 are 4 sleepers and unit 18 sleeps, 6 guests.

Unit 1, 10 and 18 consists of one bathroom with a bath, toilet and basin, a second bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower, toilet and basin. This is ensuite in unit 1. There is a guest toilet on the ground floor.

Units 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 are three-bedroom duplex units, which consist of a double bed in the main bedroom and two single beds each in the other two bedrooms. They all contain one bathroom with a bath, toilet and basin and a second bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower, toilet and basin. These units are all 6 sleepers.

Units 5, 23 and 24 are three-bedroom units which consist of a double bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in each of the other two bedrooms and a sleeper couch in the enclosed stoep unit 5 and the lounge in unit 23. Units 5, 23 and 24 are 8 sleepers.

Unit 2 contains one bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower over the bath, toilet and basin, a second bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower, toilet and basin, and a guest toilet.

The duplex units 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 have a lounge, kitchen, the sliding door leading to the open porch, and the guest toilet downstairs.

The duplex units all have about 17 steps from the ground floor to the upstairs area that contains the bedrooms and two bathrooms.

There are 34 steps to units 24 and 23.

Unit 23 is a three-bedroom simplex unit that consists of a double bed in the main bedroom, two single beds each in the other bedrooms and a sleeper couch

Unit 23 contains two bathrooms with a bath, toilet and basin in each, of which one is en-suite. There is no shower in the en-suite bathroom and there is a glass-enclosed shower in the other bathroom.

Unit 24 is a three bedroom simplex unit that consists of a double bed in the main bedroom and two single beds each in the other bedrooms and a sleeper couch

Unit 24 contains two bathrooms with a bath, glass-enclosed shower, toilet and basin in each, of which one is en-suite.

NB! Ocean Villa is not recommended for people with disabilities or people incapable of climbing stairs.

Units are partially serviced (no making of beds and no washing of dishes - not serviced on Sundays and Public Holidays).

Each unit has it’s own weber gas braai on the stoep/balcony. The key to open the gas is available at the office at Hyde Park.

It takes about 8 minutes to walk to the sea. There is no sea view. Ocean Villa is next to the business centre of Umhlanga.

Sibaya Casino is about 5 km away.

Monkeys do visit the resort from time to time, and they can be dangerous, so please do not feed them and keep your doors and windows closed at all times.

If a Full Service is required, please request this with the booking office / resort manager, a daily fee will be charged. No full service on Sundays / Public Holidays.
